Steve O’Dor is a lawyer at HDME Lawyers.
Steve has a broad practice in commercial work and dispute resolution and is a valued member of our Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Property and Business teams. He joined HDME Lawyers in April 2015.
Steve has represented clients in commercial litigation in a variety of commercial disputes including construction, shareholding and partnership disputes, contractual, trade practices and insolvency disputes. He has litigated in the state and federal courts, VCAT, Fair Work and the AAT jurisdictions.
Steve also advises and represents private and corporate clients in transactional work including, commercial and private property sale and acquisition, commercial and retail leasing, sale of business and corporate structures, shareholder and unitholder agreements, creation of trusts and partnership agreements, employment law and intellectual property.
Steve is highly regarded by clients for his commitment to delivering upon their business objectives. He understands what drives commercial decisions and takes a proactive approach to dispute resolution. Steve prides himself in providing advice that is strategic, practical and commercial.
Steve is fluent in Hungarian and a former professional A-League footballer. He regularly sits as a tribunal member of the Football Federation of Victoria and also as part of the FFV Appeals Board.
